What Is The Cost To Build A Garage?
There’s a difference between a detached garage cost and a garage addition cost. In most cases both are built on a slab, so foundation costs stay minimal. Connecting a garage to the main house adds structural work, including entry from the garage into the house.
Sizing varies too, since we build anywhere from single car garages up to 3 and 4 car garages with lofts or a workshop. Pricing depends on your family’s needs and budget, so the best advice we have is to call or send the form.

Build Questions We Get Asked
OSB structural sheathing and insulation are required throughout most counties for any structure on the property, regardless of whether it's a living space or not. Insulating the garage door matters as much as the walls, since it's large enough to act as one of the walls of your garage.
Sometimes. A frost wall can be added to our standard plans if necessary. We'll tell you during the estimate whether your site calls for one.
Most of our garages are built on a slab foundation, which greatly reduces the cost of a traditional foundation. Our standard 2 car plan uses a 6″ foundation slab with 2 rows of 1/2 in rebar around the perimeter.
